A recent custom coffee table below made for some friends at Patagonia. Similar to past tables with old skis inlaid on top, however, this one was done with red oak and a lighter finish.

But we’re still stocking up on skis. Been on a ski binge lately buying up lots of great old skis (and getting a few that people donated to the cause – thanks!). Even got some great old wood skis. And yes, that is a snowboard hiding in the corner – picked up three snowboards as well. Stay tune for more designs this fall and winter.
The ski chair works as recent testing at Colorado’s A-Basin proves. Approved for after ski grilling (please note approved does not mean fire proof…it is wood after all:) ).
Just wrapped up the latest creation – a collapsible camp chair (often referred to as a civil war camp chair). First time working with blue stain pine (see previous post) and I really like the character the color adds (pine usually isn’t my favorite wood to work with). A comfortable chair to sit back and enjoy your favorite post-skiing beer.
